Social Engagement

Despite the lingering shadow cast by the pandemic and the global economic downturn, which has left many struggling, our hearts still burn with love for philanthropy and commitment to local communities.

Whether it's subscribing to the "Formosan Leopard Cat Rice" to protect the endangered leopard cat habitat, purchasing "Laocong Wendan" to support local farmers' economic development, sponsoring the TAIWAN FOUNDATION FOR RARE DISORDERS to shine at the Thanksgiving banquet, assisting single mothers struggling to raise children, collecting nutritional supplies for elderly living alone, buying new shoes for the Little League Baseball Team of Tianmei elementary school to continue their battles on the field, or launching the "Dream Children's Day" project where our colleagues become happy angels for disadvantaged children, EOI continues to provide care, comforting every soul in need in society.

We firmly believe that every sincere contribution is a beautiful painting, and every passionate effort is a beautiful poem, making the world a better place and bringing happiness to those around us!

(1) Corporate Social Responsibility: EOI engages in various initiatives annually to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. This includes procuring gift boxes from different charitable organizations or locally sourced fruits to serve as birthday gifts, festival presents, etc., for colleagues. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the company also made efforts to donate masks and other epidemic prevention supplies to rural schools, aiding them in navigating through these challenging times. Furthermore, since 2022, EOI has adopted a "Dual Charity" model. This involves purchasing gift boxes or items from charitable organizations and then donating them to vulnerable groups. This approach aims to contribute more to society. While providing welfare benefits to employees each year, EOI continually explores ways to integrate charitable organizations or local farmers, actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility.

(2) Caring for the Vulnerable: EOI continues to extend care to the underprivileged and children in remote areas. In addition to donating festival gift boxes to ensure that vulnerable groups can celebrate important and joyful occasions, EOI has organized the "Dreams Come True Children's Day" wish gift adoption event for three consecutive years. This initiative aims to accompany children in remote areas, allowing them to grow in an environment filled with love and hope. EOI hopes that such acts of kindness will sow seeds of compassion in the hearts of these children, with the aspiration that these seeds will grow into trees of generosity in the future. This, in turn, will contribute to society and create a cycle of love for the world.

In addition to collecting second-hand clothing and books, we have also gathered learning materials for children in remote areas, nutritious meal packages for summer camps, festival gift boxes, and meals for elderly individuals living alone. These efforts aim to extend the compassion of our employees to various places, continuously creating more cycles of love for society.
