Energy and Water Consumption Statistics
In 2024, through the continuous power saving measures, including lighting in idle areas, adjustment of clean room air conditioning, adding variable frequency air compressors and replacing vacuum dryers, a total of 1,426,443kWh will be saved and 5,335 tons of process recycled water will be reused. Water consumption, air conditioning condensate water recovery and reuse of 5,263 tons of water and cutting pure water leasing, improvement and recycling, reducing sewage discharge and tap water consumption by approximately 2,979 tons.In 2023, through continuous power-saving measures, including lighting in idle areas, adjustments to cleanroom air conditioning, adding variable frequency air compressors and replacing vacuum dryers, a total of 1,238,550kWh and 5,934 tons of water were saved. 4,036 tons of water were recycled in the process and 7,260 tons of air-conditioning condensed water were recycled and reused.
In 2022, through energy-saving measures, including adjustment of lighting and air conditioning in idle areas, adding frequency conversion air compressors and replacing vacuum dryers, and increasing the use of air compressors for some equipment in the second phase, a total of 49,906 kWh will be saved.
In 2021, through power-saving measures, including turning off lighting and air conditioners in idle areas, adding frequency conversion air compressors and replacing vacuum dryers, a total of 798,682 kWh will be saved.
In 2020, through electricity-saving measures, including the use of electronic sign-off processes, reducing paper usage, turning off lighting and air-conditioning in idle areas, a total of 548,800kWh was saved.

Waste Statistics
EOI entrusts external organizations to deal with waste in accordance with the Waste Disposal Act, including
recycling, incineration or landfill operations. General waste is sent to public and private institutions for
treatment or recycling, while hazardous waste is handled by qualified and certified operators. The company
actively implements waste sorting and reduction measures, has established waste storage areas that meet
regulatory standards, and entrusts government-approved operators to carry out waste removal and report it
online. Every year, EOI evaluates waste haulage operators, reviews their vehicle operations, storage facilities,
processing methods and related documents, and continuously tracks the flow of waste disposal.
Since 2020, EOI has continuously disclosed the total weight of various types of waste in its ESG sustainability
report and conducted external verification by SGS. In addition, EOI cooperates with the ISO 14064-1 greenhouse
gas inventory operation every year. In 2024, based on the results of significance analysis, the company will
include greenhouse gas-related data in the SGS external verification scope for verification. To further comply
with domestic and international regulatory requirements, EOI plans to launch the ISO 14067 product carbon
footprint project in 2025 and complete the verification of related waste.
In 2024 through December, 63.269 metric tons of hazardous utility waste was generated and 24.82 metric tons of
general utility waste was generated.
For 2023, through December, the amount of hazardous utility waste generated was 34.921 metric tons and the
amount of
general utility waste generated was 33.431 metric tons.
In 2022 through December, the amount of hazardous utility waste generated was 20.445 metric tons and the amount
of
general utility waste generated was 42.768 metric tons.
In 2021, through December, the amount of hazardous waste generated was 30.475 metric tons, and the amount of
general
utility waste generated was 53.639 metric tons.
FY2020, we will reduce 8.597 tons of hazardous business waste and 1.69 tons of general business waste.
