The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer visited EOI Pioneer to congratulate the Grand Opening with a USD 1 million award from the Michigan Strategic Fund

The Office of the Governor of Michigan in the United States officially announced the industry news on December 3, local time (the official website for details https://www.michigan.gov/whitmer/0,9309,7-387-90499-573446--,00.html), affirmed and optimistic about the future development and active economic contribution of EOI Pioneer, the new factory of EOI Group has been awarded a $1 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant from the Michigan Strategic Fund.

The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, state government officials, local officials and many well-known auto industry representatives personally attended the opening ceremony of EOI Pioneer to congratulate them. The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer and Ms. Fanny Huang, the President of EOI Group, joined hands to cut the ribbon and tour of the EOI pioneer's manufacturing facility in Dundee.

"Michigan's business climate and highly skilled manufacturing workforce provide an environment where businesses like EOI Pioneer can grow and thrive, creating good-paying jobs for Michiganders in Monroe County," said the Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer. "This is great news for working people, their families, and our economy as we continue our economic jumpstart and put Michigan back to work. With the help of companies like EOI Pioneer, we can continue to push forward to make our state's economy stronger than ever."

Today as we celebrate this facility's opening, we are very grateful for our governor, Ms. Gretchen Whitmer, the state of Michigan, MEDC, Monroe County, and the village of Dundee, for the kindness of the support that has been provided," said Fanny Huang the President of EOI Group. "We are also very thankful for the incentives offered to EOI Pioneer. We will strive for the success of our company and our staff, as well as utilizing our resources to help grow our village, our county, and our state."

The project builds on Michigan's leadership position in automotive manufacturing and further boosts the state's work to capitalize on its existing mobility, software, manufacturing, engineering, and design capabilities to grow Michigan's technology footprint. The project will also impact the local region with immediate job growth with a large and expanding automotive supplier.

EOI believes in promotion from within and offers its employees ongoing training programs, encouraging hourly employees to take opportunities to become senior supervisors or get promoted into other advanced functions. EOI also utilizes Michigan Works! to reach local talent in disadvantaged areas and underrepresented employees and is open to helping employees obtain access to its facility for career positions.

The village of Dundee is supportive of the project and is prepared to offer staff support and resources to assist the company as it grows and adds jobs in the area.

EOI Pioneer's 1st phase plant in Dundee , Michigan covers an area of approximately 28,662 square meters and is expected to create an output value of US$80 million. In the future, there will be the 2ed and 3rd phases of plant expansion plans. In addition to activating the economy, it will create more local job opportunities, serve important customers nearby, and reduce long distances. The cost of shipping and waste will benefit more families and take a big step forward for the global deployment.
