The Annual Oscars of Corporate Sustainability—the "TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards"—celebrates its 17th year in 2024. This year saw a record-high 622 participating companies, a significant increase of 96 from 2023, making the competition fiercer than ever.
Automotive LED innovator EOI (6288) has been named one of the "Top 100 Sustainable Model Enterprises in Taiwan" for the third consecutive year. The company also claimed the prestigious "Platinum Award" for sustainability reporting and had previously received the "Innovation Growth Leadership Award," marking significant leaps in all three categories. These achievements highlight the company’s outstanding progress in sustainable development.
The grand awards ceremony was held at the Han-Lai Hotel in Taipei, where Ms. Fanny Huang, the President of EOI, took the stage to accept the honors on behalf of the company. She received the awards from Ambassador Chien Yu-Hsin, Chairman of the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, solidifying the company's position as a leader in corporate sustainability.

**Environmental Achievements:**
In 2024, EOI obtained ISO 50001 energy management system certification. Its subsidiaries in Dongguan and Shenzhen conducted ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas inventories starting in 2023, with SGS external certification. We pioneered the first-ever inter-company ESG Forum in Taiwan's science parks and established a renewable energy carbon platform for cross-company collaboration. Initiatives included green power group purchasing, a circular economy, biodiversity and carbon credit task forces in Hsinchu and Miaoli, driving overall supply chain decarbonization and regional revitalization.
**Social Impact:**
We expanded our Taiwan initiatives such as "Monthly Philanthropy" and "Double Giving for Festivals" to the subsidiaries in Dongguan and Shenzhen, deepening our societal influence. We partnered with the "NCCU Chongzhi Association" to host over 20 ESG-themed lectures and benchmark company visits across northern, central, and southern Taiwan, fostering social talent and strengthening academia-industry collaboration.
**Economic Growth:**
EOI’s 2023 revenue grew by 13.07%, marking three consecutive years of growth from 2021 to 2023. In 2024, revenue surged by over 34%, with R&D investment increasing by 15% compared to the previous year. EOI’s proprietary optical AI patent technology, *Design in*, is expected to generate tens to hundreds of billions in revenue in the coming years.
